This impressive premium quality shaving brush is densely filled with Super grade badger hair. Super grade (also known as Silver Tip) is very scarce and consequently expensive. 

This brush is the smallest of 3 sizes

Knot Size 23mm

Handles continue to be individually turned on a lathe, polished and filled by hand using a knot of selected Chinese badger hair. With the proper care the brush should last for many years. Simpsons state that the density of hair in their shaving brushes means that a brush stand, for inverting the brush is not required.

Cosmin Peleasa Excellent very dense brushI have this brush for several months and it is by far the most dense brush I own. It works very well both with creams and soaps and provides a very enjoyable massage feeling. The bristles are very resilient, yet very soft, so it is very appropriate for people with sensitive skin.
Great brushI bought this brush in January 2009. Since then it is my favourite brush (I got a couple of brushes). It works very, very well with shaving cream, even better with shaving soap. The hair is very soft but also very steadfast.
