We realise that whilst badger hair has traditionally been used in shaving brushes for many years, due to its unique properties of water absorbtion, not everyone wants to use animal-based products. The only real alternative up to now, has been a nylon brush, which usually proves to be ineffectual for the task.
At last there is now a credible alternative.
The synthetic fibres used in these shaving brushes are soft and give excellent results when used with a traditional shaving cream. We have tested the synthetic brushes here at The Gentleman's Shop and are confident that whilst the brush may not feel as luxurious, the quality of the shave is not diminished.
Available in either black as shown or in imitation ivory.

Matching razors and stands are available, all made with imitation ivory or black handles to make complete shaving sets.
