Delivery Schedule
The Gentleman's Shop is an independant retailer and being a real shop, we pride ourselves in the quality of our personal customer service. This also extends to our online customers, many of whom shop with us on a regular basis.
All orders placed online during the working week, are attended to immediately and in most cases, if received by 1pm, are despatched the same day using a 1 - 2 day courier service. Occasionally there may be delays, due to unforseen circumstances but the majority of our UK parcels are delivered the next business day. If normal despatch is delayed for any reason, we will keep you informed via the email address or telephone number you supply. Therefore please ensure these are entered correctly on your order form. The invoice address should be your card billing address and the delivery address can be a different person or a work address.
A signature will be required on all Courier and Special Delivery parcels, as they are insured against loss.
Please help us to deliver first time by supplying a delivery address where a signature can be obtained during business hours.
Low value items are sent First Class Post and do not require a signature.
We reserve the right to recover the shipping charges incurred for Items returned due to the non availability of a signature at the delivery address.
UK DELIVERY
FREE DELIVERY option using next day courier service, is available on UK mainland parcels when you spend £50 online
Interlink is a next business day service for which we charge a £3.50 contribution towards the cost. All consignments can be tracked online using a tracking number sent directly to your email address supplied when placing the order.
If you prefer to have your parcels delivered with the Royal Mail, we offer Royal Mail Special Delivery as an option at the checkout. Special Delivery is charged at cost by weight, starting from £4.95 and a delivery attempt is made by 1pm on the next business day.
BFPO (British Forces Posted Overseas)
We are delighted to offer FREE delivery to BFPO address.
Please ensure you select BFPO from the drop down shipping menu and NOT the United Kingdom when ordering, to ensure VAT-free shopping and the free delivery option.
EUROPE
The majority of European customers have a choice of service,
Royal Mail International Signed For Airmail Service, or Courier options.
For postal deliveries, we charge £7.50 for a half kilo parcel, with an additional £2.50 charge per half kilo or part thereof. The shipping charge is displayed during the ordering process, before you are asked for any credit card details. Delivery usually takes place between 3 - 5 business days from despatch and all parcels will require a signature at the delivery address.
European Courier options are available for faster delivery or heavier parcels to some destinations. Once you have selected your country of delivery at the checkout phase, you have the option to choose between the displayed postal or courier charges.
USA & CANADA
Royal Mail International Signed For Delivery
This is a tracked, postal airmail, insured service.
We charge £10 for a half kilo parcel, with an additional £5.00 charge per half kilo or part thereof.
Delivery usually takes place between 5 - 10 business days from despatch.
The shipping charge is displayed during the ordering process, before you are asked for any credit card details.The payment of all duties and taxes at the delivery destination are the responsibility of the recipient.
All parcels will require a signature at the delivery address.
We are unable to ship Colognes or Aftershave to Canada.
REST OF THE WORLD
