Delivery Schedule

All orders placed online during the working week are attended to immediately and in most cases if received by 1pm, despatched the same day. Occasionally there may be delays, due to the handmade nature of some of our products. If normal despatch is delayed for any reason, we will keep you informed via the email address or telephone number you supply. Therefore please ensure these are entered correctly on your order.

The majority of our UK parcels are delivered within 1-2 business days by Interlink Couriers for which we charge £3.50. Royal Mail Special Delivery is also an option for UK parcels.

The exception to our normal delivery schedule is the Corby trouser press range, orders for which are fulfilled free of charge, direct from the manufacturer. Delivery usually takes place within 2 weeks of ordering.

For orders outside the EU the payment of all duties and taxes at the delivery destination are the responsibility of the recipient.

Please note:
A signature will be required on the majority of parcels to ensure safe delivery of your order.

Returns Policy

We take great pride in our individual customer service and in the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchases from The Gentleman's Shop, you may of course return them to us for a full refund, unused and re-saleable within original packaging.

Unfortunately we cannot offer this service for grooming products, for hygiene reasons.

Items are returned at the customer's expense, unless faulty.

Privacy Statement

The Gentleman’s Shop is committed to protecting your privacy.

We will only use information that we collect about you lawfully, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Our Registration number is PZ6834961

We will collect information from you for two reasons: firstly to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We will only contact you by email in the event of a query relating to your order, or by telephone if a number is supplied.

We will not email you in the future for marketing purposes (unless you opt into our mailing list) nor pass your details to a third party. The type of information we will collect about you during the ordering process includes: Your name, address, phone number and email address.

We do not have access to your credit card details at any time during the ordering process as this is handled by our payment provider, Worldpay, part of the Nat West Banking Group.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date with your last order. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing Robert Johnston robert@barbershop.co.uk If you find an inaccuracy we will delete it and correct it promptly.

The personal information we hold, will be held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our website. This can include the use of 'cookies', which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. All information is collected by The Gentleman’s Shop and not a third party.

Complaints

If at any time you feel you have cause to complain about goods we supply or our service, we would like to hear from you. Your comments will be dealt with speedily and efficiently, in order that procedures can be adapted to ensure the problem does not occur again. We will acknowledge your complaint and inform you of the steps we intend to take to remedy the situation.

We are usually happy to provide images for positive editorial use, however unauthorised use is strictly forbidden.
