Original Somerset Simpson's Shaving Brushes...
Made in Somerset...the last few remaining examples...
The Gentleman's Shop has acquired a limited quantity of original Simpson handmade shaving brushes. These unique, Somerset made examples, are from the private collection of the former owners and date from before 2008 when Simpson's was sold to the new owners...
All models are filled with Pure grade badger hair. The brushes still display the original lamp-blacking model marks and have the water based transfers applied, which are designed to drop off after the first few uses. They are presented boxed in the original packaging, along with the Simpsons care leaflets enclosed.
As far as we are aware, these are the only remaining brushes of their kind available to purchase on the open market. Click on the image to buy...

This newcomer has been selling well since it arrived a few weeks ago. It's a top quality concentrated cream with a high proportion of glycerine for an extra soothing and moisturising shave. The cream should be applied to the face and lathered up with a good quality shaving brush that has been dipped in warm water. This produces a profuse lather which will soften the beard for a more comfortable shave. Paraben free. 150g pot.
D.R. Harris & Co. is one of London’s oldest pharmacies and has been in St James’s Street for over 200 years. This family-owned business holds the warrant to HRH The Prince of Wales. They are renowned for their range of quality products for both men and women. These include soaps, colognes, bath and shaving preparations. The majority of products are still produced by traditional methods, being hand-made and packed in their London premises.
