We sell over 75 different shapes and sizes of shaving brush at our shop, so the choice can be daunting to the uninitiated! Simpson brand shaving brushes have been around for 90 years and we believe them to be some of the finest available. The price of a brush is governed by quantity and quality of badger hair used in the brush and you can feel the difference in density of bristles when you hold a Simpsons's brush in your hand. We know not everyone can visit our shop to compare, so all we advise is to buy the best you can afford, treat it with care and it will give many years of service.

The Gentleman's Shop is delighted to announce the recent acquisition of the last remaining consignment of Coates shaving creams, from the Company's original owners. As this product is no longer in production, this is a unique opportunity to purchase this much sought after cream.
We have Almond, Sandalwood and Lime available.
Be advised that as this shaving cream has not been produced for a few years, the stock we are selling here has been in storage is a little dehydrated in appearance and may not contain the full 165ml.
This should not affect its performance but we want to make you completely aware of what you are buying as it may require stirring up a little prior to use!
Merkur 38 Double Edge Safety Razor...
Still a best seller from Merkur, Germany...
Launched a couple of years ago by Merkur in Germany was the 38c model.
At 102 mm or 4 inches long, the razor is longer than the 34 or 700 series. It is beautifully engineered and balanced with a quality weighty feel and non-slip "Barberspole" design of grip along the handle. Fixed head, simply unscrew the base to change blades.
This superb razor is easy to use, looks fabulous and is tactile to the touch.
