Traditional double edge, chrome plated safety razor but with longer handle. Fixed head – not adjustable.
Simply unscrew the handle from the head to insert a new blade. Simple to use – perfect for those new to a double edge razor. Supplied in Merkur branded cardboard box with 1x Merkur razor blade included.
Safety Razors are suitable for everyone who is interested in becoming more involved with their daily shave and wish to save money. Safety razor blades are much cheaper than their Mach3 or Fusion counterparts at £15.00 for 200!

The Gentleman’s Shop is delighted to announce the recent acquisition of the last remaining consignment of Coates shaving creams, from the Company’s original owners. As this product is no longer in production, this is a unique opportunity to purchase this much sought after cream.
PLEASE NOTE:
Be advised that as this shaving cream has not been produced for a few years, the stock we are selling here has been in storage is a little dehydrated in appearance and may not contain the full 165ml.
This should not affect its performance but we want to make you completely aware of what you are buying as it may require stirring up a little prior to use!
The Coates Company was founded in 1847 in Somerset, England and originally manufactured shaving brushes. They later added
Limes,
Sandalwood,
Almond,
Rose and Tea Tree shaving cream to their inventory to compliment their brushes.
During the Second World War the Coates company helped fellow
shaving brush manufacturer
Simpsons relocate after their London premises were destroyed, originally sharing their production facilities until a new factory could be established. Ironically Simpsons purchased Coates in the 1950’s and carried on producing shaving cream until 1999.

There is also a wide choice of razor blades, the most economical ones that we retail are manufactured by Personna in Israel using Swedish steel. We sell 200 razor blades for only £15.00, an absolute bargain compared with the prices of cartridge razor blades. Razor blades also contain no plastic parts, so can be recycled after use much easier than most other products in the market place.

Simpson's 90th Anniversary Shaving Brush
Today the Simpson’s 90th Anniversary Shaving Brush was finally released for sale.
Scotsman Alexander Simpson began making shaving brushes in the East End of London in 1919, eventually constructing a large clientele and upscale reputation. After his factory in London was destroyed in the Blitz they moved the company to Somerset to began anew. Production of Simpson shaving brushes transferred to the Isle of Man in June 2008.
Simpson’s still produce hand-tied badger shaving brushes, and are one of the most recognizable brands in the business, the Bentley of the shaving brush world!
To celebrate 90 years of production a special run of just 90 shaving brushes has been commissioned using the “Astor” shape of old. Containing the prized two banded Super grade badger hair each brush is individually numbered and stamped using gold lettering.
Due to the exceptional demand for these brushes we have in fact sold all our delivery. Only 9 years to wait for the 100th anniversary shaving brush then….

We have always been delighted to offer free delivery & excluding Vat pricing to our British Forces Posted Overseas. Today I received the email before from a very happy customer.
I am astounded at the speed of delivery of the product that I ordered only a few days ago, even though the packet came out to a BFPO address. I must also say that the parcel was exceptionally hand wrapped in brown paper – how often does that happen these days? I didn’t want to unwrap it.
