Ever wondered what happens to all those samples and trial products that suppliers send me to evaluate once a buying decision has been made?
Charlotte found out on Sunday when she was clearing out the bathroom at home and came across the “bad & the ugly” of male grooming. Shaving oils, clay face masks, shaving cream you cannot use with a brush and even an unused bar of soap from a company we haven’t dealt with for over five years. They all went into the bin, which is where they could have ended up a long time ago to make way for better products we like and Charlotte’s make up….
The criteria we use when choosing new products are quite simple, it has to be the best available at a reasonable cost from a company who take pride in producing their products. This make our job a lot easier and we can pass on this enthusiasm to our customers who rely on our honest opinion when considering trying something new.
The bathroom cabinet is not that empty though, so don’t feel too sorry for me! I currently have a much smaller box containing my Zirh face wash, Castle Forbes “The Pre Shave“, Lavender shaving cream, Lavender aftershave balm and TGS alum block. Oh and a TGS Imitation Ivory safety razor, Merkur Futur safety razor, Parker Knightsbridge razor and a tube of Zirh Defend!
I discovered your web site when I was looking for something entirely different, but this page showed up at the top of Yahoo your website must be amazingly popular! Continue the good work!
