Originally established in 1988 the Barber Shop was incorporated within The Gentleman’s Shop at Charnham House in 2002.
The Barber Shop is well lit and spacious, located within a modern extension of the old building, although many exposed beams and original features are still visible, reminding customers of a much earlier age.
The team of barbers, provide a modern approach to the traditional skill of gentlemen’s hairdressing. All ages and styles are catered for and time set aside to listen to their needs.
Traditional wet shaving with an open razor and hot towels is always a popular service at The Gentleman's Shop, for that special occasion, or just as a relaxing treat. Gift vouchers are available.
We also offer a Shaving Lesson or consultation, using a twin or triple bladed razor. This is the ideal opportunity for those who are new to wet shaving, or believe they are not getting the best from their shave, to discuss shaving technique with a Master Barber.
