Today the Simpson’s 90th Anniversary Shaving Brush was finally released for sale.

Scotsman Alexander Simpson began making shaving brushes in the East End of London in 1919, eventually constructing a large clientele and upscale reputation. After his factory in London was destroyed in the Blitz they moved the company to  Somerset to began anew. Production of Simpson shaving brushes transferred to the Isle of Man in June 2008.

Simpson’s still produce hand-tied badger shaving brushes, and are one of the most recognizable brands in the business, the Bentley of the shaving brush world!

To celebrate 90 years of production a special run of just 90 shaving brushes has been commissioned using the “Astor” shape of old. Containing the prized two banded Super grade  badger hair each brush is individually numbered and stamped using gold lettering.

Due to the exceptional demand for these brushes we have in fact sold all our delivery. Only 9 years to wait for the 100th anniversary shaving brush then….
